Always large meals. Staff are friendly. Coffee was cold when it arrived to the table. Staff member was very obliging and quickly arranged for another.
Very mediocre fisherman's basket bare faced lie on the menu claiming the presence of sea scallops. When arrived contained seafood stick pieces instead. No scallops. When I challenged the staff over this they claimed their authenticity because that's what it said on the box. Lucky the box didn't say poison or anthrax.
We dropped in on our way home from Kingaroy to the Gold Coast. I ate Blackened Rib fillet and my wife ate salt and pepper calamari. My steak was cooked to perfection and the sides enhanced the experience. My wife said the calamari were butter soft and delicious, it must have been good, she ate everything on her plate and given the generous servings that was an achievement. Well done to the team, staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was inviting and the food most delicious... we will be making this a must stop from now on.Second visit... Just as good. Steak is perfect. Had a local gob off at me, security was there in seconds. I suppose you can't help stupid. Thanks again for delicious food.
Only one disappointment on a very busy day - every other time it has been superb. Does not stop us going to this great place the staff are awesome and the food is excellent at a reasonable price. Really worth a visit.
Nice pub just off the highway at plainland. Mum and I enjoyed our meals. We sat on the deck, and despite it being over 35 degrees it was quite comfortable.
